    Para Educator Proficiency Exam

    • Applicants who wish to register for the Para Educator Proficiency Exam must be able to provide a legal form of identification and proof of high school equivalency.

    • After you have registered, we will give you a call to set up an appointment time to take the exam. Exams are by appointment only.

    • The exam is made up of 61 multiple choice questions followed by a question requiring an essay response, written in a five paragraph format. You will have up to two hours and thirty minutes to complete the exam.

    • Effective January 2023, the exam is free of charge.

    • Preparation: Preparation classes are available and optional for those who would like to revise their math and English skills. Please call us for more information.
